YG Network Praises Bipartisan JOBS Act, Urges Leaders to Show Same Unity on 20% Small Business Tax Cut to Create Jobs

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, President Barack Obama will be joined by business leaders like Steve Case and a bipartisan group of lawmakers including House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) and Congressman Patrick McHenry (R-NC) as he signs the Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act into law.

Spokesman Brad Dayspring issued the following statement on behalf of the YG Network:

“For years, influential leaders like Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer have talked a lot but done little to create jobs and grow the economy. Time and again, they have refused to overlook differences and find common ground despite America’s economic challenges. But for millions of Americans and struggling small business owners, actions speak far louder than words. President Obama deserves credit for putting differences aside and working with Leader Cantor and others across the ideological spectrum on the JOBS Act, and hopefully lawmakers will build on this momentum and seize the opportunity offered by the 20% small business tax cut to create jobs.

“The economy needs a boost and allowing small businessmen and women to keep more of what they earn to hire new workers and expand is a great way to start. We hope that leaders from the right and the left will again unite around legislation that will boost the economy and create small business jobs.”
