WSJ/NBC Poll: By 2-to-1 Margin, Obamacare Has Negative Personal Impact

Happy Law Day folks (yes, it’s a thing. Here’s the American Bar Association’s description of it),

To celebrate, it’s only fitting to discuss a destructive law that slashes hours in the workweek and raises costs: Obamacare.

Despite the fact that the Administration has been giddy to discuss enrollment numbers, Obamacare is still a mess.

As YG Network’s John Murray recently pointed out in The Huffington Post, “It’s clear that President Obama and his liberal allies in Congress have been desperately searching for a way to spin the troubled law, because the latest enrollment figures hardly qualify as a success. … The American people have taken notice of Obamacare’s flaws and see right through liberals’ enrollment elation.”

There is evidence of America’s skepticism of the law in both the recent YG Network Healthcare tracking survey, which found that respondents’ disapproval escalated from 52 percent in March to 55 in April, and the recent WSJ/NBC News poll.

An alarming finding in the latter poll is that by a two-to-one margin (28% to 13%), respondents said that the law has had a negative personal impact compared to a positive one.

Obamacare, (a law with 40 changes made to it, according to the Galen Institute), serves as a reminder to every American that laws should be enacted to actually help people, not to serve some narrow agenda. It’s unfair that President Obama and his liberal allies continue their support for this law while everyday Americans suffer.

Seize the day.
