WSJ: Obamacare Preventing Hires

YGNetwork-MorningBuzz2

Happy Wednesday Folks,

Pew Research recently published a report showing that by more than a six to one margin, Americans say they are hearing mostly bad news about the economy (33 percent) compared to those who say they’re hearing mostly good news (5 percent).

With harmful laws like Obamacare out there, it’s easy to see why everyday Americans are hearing mostly negative news about the economy.

Despite the latest Obamacare mandate delay- which the Obama Administration says is merely for “smoothing out this transition” for the law- small businesses have only perceived the delay as “minimal relief.”

Sarah E. Needleman and Rhonda Colvin of The Wall Street Journal recently profiled a farm owner who “said she doesn’t plan to hire more workers since it would create an administrative burden for eventually complying with the law.

This is the real impact of Obamacare. Here we have a business that finds it disadvantageous to hire more workers due to the law.

The law’s impact on our economy is ruinous, and with the way it is being implemented by the Obama Administration, its outlook does not seem any better. As National Journal’s Major Garrett recently noted, “Systematically and with an eye toward his party’s immediate political troubles, Obama has reshaped, photo-shopped, reimagined, and reengineered Obamacare. It all sounds techy and cool and flexible—at least to the administration. To those who must live with and live under the law, the arbitrary is the norm. The only pattern is chaos.”

Americans deserve more than a healthcare law that prevents employers from hiring workers and has an implementation that is described as chaotic. In a down economy such as this, middle-class families cannot afford this President’s liberal agenda.

Seize the day.
