What The New Quinnipiac Poll Reveals

Happy Wednesday folks,

Earlier this morning, MSNBC host Chuck Todd said that the President’s approval rating “has fallen through the 40 floor” (say that ten times fast).

Todd was referring to a brand new Quinnipiac University poll, which found that “American voters disapprove 54 - 39 percent of the job President Barack Obama is doing, his lowest approval rating in any Quinnipiac University national poll.”

The American people have become frustrated with President’s Obama’s record across several policy areas, including:

  • The Economy: 59 percent disapprove while only 38 approve
  • Healthcare: 60 percent disapprove while only 36 percent approve
  • Federal Budget: 62 percent disapprove while only 32 percent approve
  • Immigration: 53 percent disapprove while only 35 percent approve
  • Foreign Policy: 53 percent disapprove while only 38 percent approve.

Not only are the American people calling the President’s record into question, but even former President Bill Clinton has recently criticized the President’s promise that people can keep their healthcare plan.

“I personally believe, even if it takes a change in the law, the president should honor the commitment that the federal government made to those people and let them keep what they got,” said Clinton.

Obamacare’s problems have shown that the Left’s answers to America’s healthcare problems don’t work. No wonder NPR’s Frank James said that, “Democrats at the White House and in Congress find themselves in an ever-tightening vise over all those canceled health insurance policies.”

Obamacare is not working for the American people, and the President’s leadership has led to higher costs for things like energy, groceries, and higher education. The President’s reputation may suffer a bit as a result of these poll numbers, but the people who are negatively affected by these policies are suffering much more.

Seize the day.
