Happy Friday folks,
Things are not looking good for the Obama Administration these days. This morning, The Washington Post’s Chris Cillizza and Sean Sullivan described President Obama’s apology to Americans who have lost health insurance due to his healthcare law as “the lowest low of the Obama presidency.”
It is an appropriate description because millions of people have received cancellations from their insurer because of Obamacare. It’s nice that the President offered an apology to the American people, but words without action doesn’t bring their insurance back.
Speaking of words, The Wall Street Journal’s staff has put together a nice little article about President Obama’s shifting rhetoric on insurance plans. Check it out HERE.
More and more Americans are becoming aware of the problems with Obamacare, but liberal senators have been given “a green light to bash the White House and call for certain legislative fixes” for political purposes, according to Politico’s Manu Raju and Seung Min Kim.
Hopefully the criticism of Obamacare coming from these senators is genuine, and that they realize that a mere apology from the President about insurance cancellations is not enough to help families with their healthcare costs.
