Not that it should be a big surprise, but images of Peyton Manning (and other Bronco’s fans) looking incredibly disappointed in the Bronco’s performance last night are popping up all over the internet.
So too, any person who’s put their heart and soul into something—who BELIEVED it would work—can relate to Mr. Manning. It goes without saying that Manning’s expression of emotion has made it’s appearance in union offices around the country, only this time it’s about Obamacare, not football.
As Melonie Trottman of The Wall Street Journal points out, union leaders—normally strong backers of President Obama—are “bitterly disappointed” with his healthcare law. “The administration hasn’t adequately addressed their complaints that provisions in the law will undermine the current health coverage of millions of union members,” Trottman writes.
If it’s any consolation to those Unions, Manning at least, feels your pain (though the rest of us saw this coming).
