Chalk one more up to the Obamacare dissenters. A new report from Unite Here! a union of about 300,000 hospitality and service workers says that the “Irony of Obamacare” is that the largest transfer of wealth is to insurance companies.
“The promise of Obamacare was the right one and the hope for extending healthcare coverage to the un-and under-insured a step in the right direction,” the report says. “Yet the unintended consequences will hit the average, hard-working American where it hurts: in the wallet.”
In addition, Casino workers in Las Vegas, part of the Culinary Workers Union Local 226 are ready to strike, furious that Obamacare puts their healthcare coverage, pensions, and 40-hour work weeks in jeopardy.
More and more Americans are realizing that the promise of the Liberal agenda pushed by President Obama and his liberal allies in congress is empty—that those promises do nothing to help the American middle class, who continue to struggle under the weight of liberal policies like Obamacare.
