In case you haven’t perused any poll numbers today, a brand-spanking-new CNN/ORC International survey revealed that President Obama’s approval rating “stands at 45%, with 52% saying they disapprove of the job he’s doing in the White House.”
When you dive into specific policy zones, the President’s approval rating sinks even further:
- 43% on the economy
- 42% on healthcare
- 40% on foreign policy
- 36% on the budget deficit.
It’s not difficult to see why President Obama’s approval ratings are so low—American families are still struggling to make it in this part-time economy. Costs for things like higher education, healthcare, and gas keep going up, but their income levels are not improving.
