The news today will be dominated by the departure of HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, the person in charge of the disastrous Obamacare rollout.
Unfortunately, the problems associated with Obamacare will not depart with Secretary Sebelius. Instead, skyrocketing premiums and reduced work hours continue to loom over the American people.
Obamacare’s failures are just a part of the larger failed liberal agenda. The worldview of President Obama, Senate Majority Leader Reid, and House Minority Leader Pelosi simply isn’t working for middle-class Americans.
That’s why YG Network has worked to build a forward-looking agenda that provides real solutions for middle-class Americans. One of YG Network’s major initiatives was recently chronicled by The Richmond Times-Dispatch: “The group held a policy summit over the weekend for self-described ‘reform conservatives.’ The event featured, among others, a presentation from the Ethics and Public Policy Center’s Yuval Levin, who has become an influential shaper of House Republican policymaking by advising leaders to make a case revolved around supporting civil society and families rather than focusing on budget reductions.”
The American people deserve policies that help them with their everyday lives. Conservatives can help them, but it’s critical to speak directly to middle-class families about the pocketbook issues they face everyday.
