Good morning and happy Wednesday folks,
Yesterday, House Minority Leader Pelosi said that because liberals will continue to hang their hat on Obamacare, “we now pivot to job creation.”
The American people, who are both suffering under the weight of Obamacare and stagnating in the Obama economy, don’t buy the Left’s argument that Obamacare is working or that liberal stewardship over the economy has been going well.
In fact, a new Quinnipiac poll shows that a solid majority of Americans (55 percent) disapprove of Obamacare, and it’s easy to see why so many oppose the law.
Not only does the law restrict access to preferred doctors, and reduce hours in the work-week, but Reuters recently reported that insurers recognize that because early enrollees “represent a higher rate of older and costlier members than hoped,” Obamacare will cause “premium rates to rise by double-digit percentages in some parts of the country.”
Not only does Obamacare wreak havoc on the middle class, but also a majority of Americans are still pessimistic about the state of the Obama economy. According to a recent Gallup survey, a whopping 56 percent of Americans believe that the economy is getting worse, while only 39 percent said that it is getting better.
A failed healthcare law and a half-hearted pivot to jobs is not what the American people deserve. Liberal lawmakers have not developed policy to help people with their daily lives. As a result, conservatives must continue to show commonsense solutions to help people with their pocketbook issues.
Pivot to the day.
