Report: Obamacare Tax To Cost Up To A Quarter-Million Jobs

Happy Wednesday folks,

The National Federation of Independent Business recently released a study which shows the harrowing effects of Obamacare.

The study focuses on one of the taxes within the law- the Health Insurance Premium Tax, and its effects on the workforce. Though the tax was originally designed to be levied on insurers, NFIB concludes that the “tax burden will be passed on to the purchasers of insurance: employers and employees.”

Consequently, the tax “will result in a reduction in private sector employment of 152,000 to 286,000 jobs by 2023, with 57 percent of the job losses coming from small businesses.”

This is just another example of how the effects of Obamacare negatively impact the American people. It’s no shock that a majority of Americans disapprove of the law- including 50 percent of women in YG Network’s April battleground poll.

Liberals across the country continue to run away from this law, but it’s critical that while conservatives remind the American people of liberal lawmakers’ connection to Obamacare, they also point out the fact that the law has a negative impact on the employment outlook for the middle class.

Seize the day.
