Happy Thursday folks,
The Left continues to have palm-to-forehead moments because of Obamacare. A recent AP photo shows HHS Secretary Kahtleen Sebelius watching the Obamacare website crash at a Miami Medical Center. Her response: “uh oh.”
If “uh oh” is the reaction for a failed website, then we may have to get out the “bleep” sound effects for the Administration if they see the latest revelations about Obamacare.
Elise Viebeck of The Hill recently reported that it’s not just people on the individual market who will be kicked off their insurance plan, but people in employer-based plans too. Viebeck noted that, “Millions of people are expected to lose their employer-based healthcare coverage over the next decade, according to business surveys and estimates by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO). By 2016, the CBO has projected that 6 million fewer people will receive employer-based health insurance compared with this year.”
So people who have individual insurance plans are hurt under Obamacare.
People with employer-based plans will be hurt under Obamacare.
And The Wall Street Journal’s Sarah E. Needleman recently wrote how small businesses will be hurt by Obamacare. “Starting next year, small businesses are among those poised to bear the brunt of a little known tax created by the Affordable Care Act that will impose an annual “fee” on health-insurance companies,” wrote Needleman. And the CBO projects that the fees “ will largely be passed on to small businesses and consumers who buy their own policies in the form of higher premiums.” Needleman reminds us that other fees and taxes are in the law as well, “including a $63 tax on each person covered in a health plan starting next year.”
How much more pain does Obamacare have to inflict before the leaders of the Left- President Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi- realize that this is a harmful law that hurts American families?
Seize the Day.
