Happy Monday folks,
President Obama, Senate Majority Leader Reid, and House Minority Leader Pelosi know that their signature healthcare law is unpopular, but hope they can change the subject by saying, “the repeal debate is and should be over.”
The American people are smarter than that, however.
A new Politico poll of “867 likely voters in the states and districts with the most competitive Senate and House races, as ranked by the University of Virginia Center for Politics” shows that by a three-to-one-margin, respondents say that Obamacare should be repealed (48 percent) compared to those who say kept as is (16 percent).
This poll clearly shows that Obamacare is pungent policy to hardworking Americans. It’s unfair that the Left continues to reinforce its support for the law while so many millions of Americans are struggling to get in or stay in the middle class. Conservatives must continue to side with the American people by opposing Obamacare while advocating healthcare policies that reduce costs, expand access, and encourage innovation.
Seize the day.
