Politics May Be Local, But Disdain For Obamacare Is National

YGNetwork-MorningBuzz2
Happy Wednesday folks,Last night, Alex Sink’s defeat showed that people are coalescing around the fact that Obama’s liberal agenda is not working for the country.

And it must be a huge disappointment to liberals everywhere that their pride and joy- Obamacare (and the Medicare Advantage cuts associated with it) has been rejected by the American people.

Based on data from a new YG Network survey, it is evident that America’s seniors reject the Left’s healthcare plans, as well. The survey, spanning 8 states and sampling nearly 4,500 people, reveals that:

  • 57 percent of seniors disapprove of Obamacare
  • 80 percent of seniors are satisfied with their current Medicare Advantage plan
  • By a three-to-one margin, seniors believe that because of Obamacare, access to providers will be reduced in their Medicare Advantage plan (43 percent to 14 percent).
With data like these, it’s easy to see Obamacare and its Medicare Advantage cuts have hurt President Obama’s approval ratings. According to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, “Obama’s job-approval rating has dropped to a low point of 41 percent.”While the phrase “all politics is local” is a nice cliché, it’s important to keep in mind that it was coined without the presence of Obamacare and its disastrous impact.
