Obama’s Predictions Gone Awry

unnamed
Happy Monday folks,Yesterday, in an interview with Bill O’Reilly, President Obama said that he didn’t want to make a prediction about the Super Bowl because “I can’t make a prediction I don’t know.”

If he had exercised such humility before predicting, “If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep it,” millions of Americans would not have been deceived by his “Lie of the Year.”

In addition to dealing incorrect predictions regarding Obamacare, the Obama Administration must be livid that the State of the Union did not generate support for the President’s liberal agenda.

According to Roll Call’s Steven T. Dennis, “[t]ens of millions of Americans watched President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address, but the speech had no appreciable impact on his depressed poll numbers.”

Dennis cites Gallup and Rasmussen Reports, which indicate that the President is as unpopular after his speech as before it (Gallup showed Obama’s disapproval at 50 percent before, 51 percent after; Rasmussen showed 51 percent before, 50 percent after).

This is a clear sign that no matter how powerful a soapbox President Obama has at his disposal, the American people are fed up with his liberal agenda.

The Left’s arguments are falling on deaf ears, but conservatives must not relent in showing Americans that there is a better way. From costs for things like healthcare, education, and energy, conservatives must show the American people sound policy that will help make life better for middle-class Americans.

Seize the day,
