Happy Friday folks,
While President Obama and his liberal allies continue to focus on their pet projects and special interests, middle-class Americans fail to get ahead in this economy.
Take this morning’s disappointing jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, for instance.Politico’s Ben White described the March data as a “weak report” and that “we still are not seeing a return to big job gains.”
If you dive into the report, you’ll see some somber data: the unemployment rate for African Americans and Hispanics is 12.4 percent and 7.9 percent, respectively.
According to YG Network’s recent Battleground Constituent Poll, 71 percent of battleground constituents believe that the role of the federal government is to create an environment to help the private sector add jobs, while only 29 percent believe the government should directly spend money to create jobs.
With so many people looking for government to produce policies that help the private sector flourish, why does President Obama, Senate Majority Leader Reid, and House Minority Leader Pelosi continue their narrow-viewed approach?
The American people deserve better than what the liberal worldview can offer them.
Seize the day.
