Obamacare Facepalm

10April

It’s Thursday and this cat is sad. You may ask, “Why?” but the answer is pretty simple: Obamacare continues to plague the nation.

The President and his liberal allies continue to claim victory since 7.1 million people have enrolled in Obamacare, but looking at the feelings of the nation, this may come as a pyrrhic victory at best for liberals. It’s not because of the failed rollout, or the unending stream of issues that plagued the website. No, it’s because they have successfully “won” a battle that the American people don’t support.

In a recent USA TODAY/Pew Research Center Poll, they find that a majority of Americans (50%) do not support the law, while only 37% say they do. Add to that the fact that 35% of the country expects the law to have a negative impact on their lives in the coming years, and it’s easy to see why a majority don’t support the law.

The President’s and his liberal allies continue to limit choice in healthcare, while simultaneously raising costs—an important factor when you consider that many middle class Americans need money to put food on the table and keep the lights on in their homes. Now, because of Obamacare, those two pocketbook issues have to compete with the increased cost of Healthcare due to Obamacare. In essence, it’s just another added stress to an American middle class struggling under the weight of a struggling Obama economy.

Conservatives have the right policies to get this country back on track, and it’s high-time we made moves to secure a better tomorrow for Americans of all walks of life.
