The only thing more confusing than the scenarios in which the US soccer team can advance (actually, here’s a handy little chart to help sort it all out), is why liberal lawmakers continue to support their failed agenda.
Take our higher education system, for example. College tuition and fees at a four-year, public college has skyrocketed by 26 percent since 2009-2010, yet President Obama, House Majority Leader Reid, and House Minority Pelosi continue to ignore the problem.
Because the Left’s policies have heaped such a tremendous burden on the American people, conservatives have an opportunity and an obligation to promote new solutions.
Yesterday, Senator Marco Rubio, at an event sponsored by YG Network and Hillsdale College, suggested that we must “revolutionize how we acquire and pay for education, [so that] millions of people will have the skills they need for the higher paying jobs of the new economy.”
Along with the policies found in Room To Grow, this is the kind of bold thinking that can help middle-class Americans thrive in today’s economy.
