Job Market “Remains Tough” For Recent College Grads

Happy Wednesday folks,

Young people continue to struggle in the Obama economy.

The AP’s Paul Wiseman recently reported that the job market “remains tough for those just graduating. Many are settling for jobs outside their fields of study or for less pay than they’d expected or hoped for.” And that’s the bleak outlook for those who actually find jobs.

The unemployment rate for recent graduates, according to a recent Labor Department report, is 10.9 percent.

It’s unfortunate for these young graduates entering a weak economy that liberal policymakers continue to focus on their own narrow agenda.

Americans of all demographics deserve policies that generate economic growth.

And they overwhelmingly believe (by a 2-to-1 margin) that the government should focus on creating an environment for economic growth for everyone, rather than focusing on narrowing the gap between rich and poor.

This data about the labor market should be a wake-up call for conservatives: President Obama’s economic policies have failed the American people. It’s time for conservatives to provide policy alternatives that help people succeed.

Seize the day.
