The Energy and Conservation Policy Network (E&C) is an ideas group within the YG Network, a 501(c)(4) dedicated to supporting center-right policies and the efforts of policymakers who fight for those policies. E&C is focused on center-right solutions that create long-term, sustainable energy security combined with environmental stewardship.
Through extensive research and outreach, including issue surveys, we plan to gather energy and conservation ideas and feedback that enhance our overall objective of supporting a long-term energy plan that recognizes the necessity of expanding American energy and protecting the environment through responsible and conservative stewardship. Through an all-of-the-above energy plan that is less reliant on foreign energy and more reliant on American produced energy, including more renewable and alternative energy sources, we believe we can help build a strong energy future. We also believe America can sustain and provide more of its energy needs now and in the future, and that being conservative and being green go hand in hand.
The YG Network adds another voice to the Young Guns movement, which began after the Weekly Standard dubbed Congressmen Eric Cantor, Kevin McCarthy and Paul Ryan the “Young Guns of the House GOP” and they wrote their book, “Young Guns: A New Generation of Conservative Leaders.” The YG Network will play offense on key issues and be a megaphone for a center-right vision for the country. In doing so, the YG Network will operate independently of any officeholder, candidate or political party.
