The Obama administration has postponed the employer mandate, and only plans an “honor system” for those who want healthcare exchange coverage and the associated subsidies. This might have the effect of postponing the individual mandate as well, as Forbes has reported. But it seemingly ignores the larger problem that pushing back a broken law, actually does nothing to fix it.
