Happy Wednesday folks,
Let’s take a brief “paws” this morning to investigate the DC panda cub attempting to take its first steps: Awwwwww.
Now that we are (sort of) assured the panda can walk, let’s review how bad of a day liberals are having due to the failure of their policies
First of all, according to a new CBS News poll, President Obama’s approval rating “has plunged to the lowest of his presidency,” only 37 percent- down from 46 percent in October.
And the Affordable Care Act’s reviews are even worse.
According to the same poll, only “31 percent - the lowest number yet recorded in CBS News,” approve of Obamacare. On the other side of the issue, 61 percent of Americans disapprove of the law, with 46 percent who say they “disapprove strongly.”
Keeping with the theme of eye-popping percentages, Henry Chao, the Deputy Chief Information Officer of CMS, reported yesterday “that up to 40 percent of IT systems supporting the exchange still need to be built,” according to Politico’s Jessica Meyers.
Americans are getting a faulty product from their government, and according to The Washington Post’sJuliet Eilperin, “White House press secretary Jay Carney said President Obama was told in April about a review of HealthCare[dot]gov’s problems.”
Liberal governance is unpopular and doesn’t work. Americans are still trying to dig themselves out of the recession, but still face a weak labor market and an environment where everyday goods are more expensive. Not even a cute panda cub can help with these problems.
Seize the day.
