There are a million reasons why the President and his liberal allies in congress should be actively working to repair the economy—3.2 million reasons, actually. But instead their selfish liberal agenda is leaving most Americans wondering, where’s the relief?
Today we see that, despite repeated claims that the economy is improving, President Obama no longer holds the American people’s attention, nor their confidence. Evidence? Well, let’s just start with the economic confidence index* dropping to -18. That’s a full 10 points down from a year ago.
And what’s more, 55% of Americans feel that the economy is getting worse.
So, here we are. The liberal policies of President Obama, and Senators Reid and Pelosi are weighing us down. But there’s hope. America used to be a country that was as proud and optimistic about the future as Tom Hanks is during the fire scene of Cast Away. And it’s high-time to get back to that. Americans are burning for the opportunity to create their own fire; to build their way out of the economic slump that liberal policies have created.
It’s time for Conservatives to offer solutions that help promote broad-based growth for everyone can get the country back on track and creating fires.
