AP: Obamacare “Has Only Chipped Away” At Core Goal

Happy Tuesday folks,

Since Obamacare creates a disincentive for people to work and has caused people to lose the healthcare plan they liked, liberals must ask themselves if it was all worth it. After all, the law “has only chipped away at one of its core goals: to sharply reduce the number of people without insurance,” according to the Associated Press.

The CBO estimates that by 2024, roughly 31 million Americans will still not have health insurance. When self-identified Democrats were asked if they believe the fact that 31 million Americans will remain uninsured in 10 years means the law is a success, the law is a failure or something in between, only15 percent said the law should be deemed a success. And only eight percent of battleground constituents as a whole said Obamacare should be deemed a success.

So, despite Obamacare’s huge disruption to the economy, it still has “only chipped away” at providing coverage.

The American people are struggling to find good jobs and pay their bills, and 55 percent of Americans believe that the economy is getting worse, according to a new Gallup survey.

The last thing they need is a tumultuous healthcare law like Obamacare.

Seize the day.
