In yet another indication that America’s economic recovery remains virtually non-existent, Gallup released new numbers showing that the US Payroll-to-Population Rate has dropped to 43.7%. A continued drop would surely push the number to its lowest point in 2013.
For a middle class who expressed grave concerns over the lack of economic support coming from this administration, this drop will surely come as no surprise. “If you’re in the middle, you get screwed,” said one of our Focus Group Attendees.
It’s time we got this economic recovery, and this country, back on track; and the best way to do that is through smart conservative policies that help, not hurt, the middle class.
