65 Percent Say Next President Should Have Different Policies From Obama

Happy Monday folks,

You probably spent most of your weekend wondering how the American people view President Obama’s policies. Luckily, Pew Research and USA Today came through with the answer: a whopping “65% would like to see the next president offer different policies and programs from the Obama administration,” according to their new survey. Comparatively, only 30% of Americans “want Obama’s successor to offer similar policies.”

That two-to-one margin is a clear indication that the American people are dissatisfied with President Obama’s liberal policies.

With a focus on pet projects and advancing a staunchly liberal agenda- no matter what the cost to the middle class- it’s easy to see why they are so upset.

The economy just isn’t where it should be, and the American people continue to struggle to find good jobs. By a two-to-one margin (65% to 27%), people say jobs in their community are difficult to find (versus plenty available).

Keep in mind that this survey was taken before the April jobs numbers came out, so the American people have been pessimistic about the economy even before finding out that over a half million more people dropped out of the workforce than gained employment.

It’s unfair that while middle-class Americans continue to struggle for work and have to endure calamitous policies like Obamacare, the Left continues to focus on their narrow agenda.

Conservatives must stand with the American people and continue to offer sound alternatives to President Obama’s policies.

Cinco the day.
