According to a new CNN/ORC International survey, President Obama’s approval rating eroded eight points since mid-May, from 53 percent to 45 percent. This is his lowest job approval rating since November 2011. And while job-approval ratings are important, the true litmus test is how Americans view the president on specific policies. American families don’t feel President Obama is creating the right policies for them.
On the economy, 57 percent of America disapproves of the president’s handling. Only 42 percent approve (lowest approval since November 2011).
