3 In 5 Healthcare Benefit Decision Makers Say Obamacare Will Raise Costs

Happy Tuesday folks,

Obamacare continues to plague the economy. Not only does it “create a disincentive for people to work” and press companies to reduce their employees’ hours, but it also worries healthcare benefit decision makers about healthcare costs.

Ferdous Al-Faruque of The Hill recently profiled a new survey from the healthcare software provider PlanSource, which found that “Three out of five healthcare benefit decision makers thinks ObamaCare will raise the cost of health care at their company.”

The poll was taken from “266 industry decision makers, such as chief financial officers, human resources executives, and benefit managers.”

With such a negative impact, it’s easy to see why the most recent Pew Research/USA Today poll shows that “the share disapproving of the law (55%) is as high as it ever has been in the four-year history of the law.”

The problems associated with Obamacare could not come at a worse time for the American people. The weak nature of today’s economy cannot sustain continuous hits from President Obama’s liberal agenda. According to Gallup, a majority of Americans (56%) believe that the economy is getting worse, while only 39% say the economy is getting better.

Middle-class Americans deserve policies that actually help them with their daily lives. What they’re getting from liberals in Washington is anything but that.

Seize the day.
