Ron Fournier of National Journal could not be more correct in his observation that Obama “puts politics above policy.”
His cynical, politically motivated decision to slash carbon emissions will “pinch states unevenly,” according to The Wall Street Journal’s Amy Harder and Alicia Mundy.
Even though “Kentucky appears to have it easy, … with an 18.3 percent cut in carbon-dioxide emissions required by 2030,” other states have it even worse. Washington state, for example, must cut its emissions by 72 percent.
And even “Kentucky’s goal will be anything but easy,” according to the state’s assistant secretary for climate policy John Lyons.
The Washington-based liberal agenda of President Obama hurts everyday Americans, and their prospects about the economy’s future reflect their concerns. According to Gallup’s Economic Confidence Index, a majority of Americans (54 percent) believe the economy is getting worse, and only 40 percent think the economy is getting better.
President Obama and his liberal allies like Senate Majority Leader Reid and House Minority Pelosi have failed the middle class. Smart conservative policies found in YG Network’s Room To Grow can help people in their daily lives.
