President Obama’s liberal policies are not working for America’s middle class, including women. Our April Battleground Tracking Poll reveals that a majority of women (53 percent) say the implementation of Obamacare thus far has made them less confident in the government’s ability to address national problems.
Obamacare is bad medicine for Americans of all types—women included—and is causing headaches from increases in health insurance premiums to policies being canceled altogether. Obamacare is burdening Americans with more expensive health insurance plans that include features that they often don’t want or need.
With women making nearly 80% of the health care choices for their families, it is easy to see why the law is so unpopular among them. Middle-class Americans work too hard and care too much about the health of their families to accept a failed health care law for the next generation that will lead only to debt, dependency, and despair. All Americans deserve health care that is patient-centered and affordable, and conservatives are poised to give them just that.
