ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The YG Network — a non-profit 501(c)(4) dedicated to broadening the Young Guns movement by promoting next-generation conservative policies — announced today that Stacey Johnson has joined the group as Chief of Staff.
Prior to joining the YG Network, Stacey was the Deputy Chief of Staff for Congressman Erik Paulsen where she managed the day-to-day operations of the Washington office. She was also Communications Director on Paulsen’s first campaign in 2008.
Stacey served as Press Secretary for Governor Bob McDonnell on both his campaign and administration. She worked in Congressman Eric Cantor’s communications department for four years during his tenure as Chief Deputy Whip and Whip of the House of Representatives. She was also Political Director on Cantor’s 2006 campaign. She began her career in Virginia on the 2005 Governor’s race after graduating that spring from James Madison University.
“Stacey is a strong leader with great experience, and she’s going to help YG Network grow our impact even more as we develop and advocate for our next-generation conservative agenda,” said YG Network founder and Senior Strategist John Murray.
