Bad news for middle-class Americans struggling in the Obama economy: the Left’s signature healthcare law is going to cause “premiums to skyrocket.”
“Health industry officials say ObamaCare-related premiums will double in some parts of the country, countering claims recently made by the administration,” according to The Hill’s Elise Viebeck.
This skyrocket in flight is not an afternoon delight. Instead it is one of the many harmful effects of Obamacare, including reduced work hours and reduced access to a preferred doctor.
This news about the the continuing negative impact of Obamacare could not come at a worse time for Americans’ pocketbooks, as people have a negative outlook on the economy. According to a new Gallup survey, 56 percent of Americans believe that the economy is getting worse, while only 39 percent say that it’s getting better.
Americans just can’t afford the health law championed by President Obama, Senate Majority Leader Reid, House Minority Leader Pelosi, and their allies. With everyday items like gas and groceries becoming more expensive, the disastrous impact of Obamacare is just making things harder for middle-class families. Conservatives must continue to pursue policies that help people with their daily lives.
