Happy Thursday folks,
President Obama’s liberal, Washington-based agenda continues to let down the American people. “U.S. businesses added new workers at a slower-than-expected pace in May, according to a survey of hiring,” conducted by ADP and Moody’s analytics.
Private-sector payrolls increased by 179,000, but “economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journalexpected ADP to report a stronger May advance of 210,000.”
With such a weak economic recovery occurring, many Americans disapprove of the way President Obama does his job. According to a new Fox News Poll, almost six in ten Americans (58 percent) disapprove of the way he is handling both the economy and healthcare.
President Obama, Senate Majority Leader Reid, and House Minority Leader Pelosi have simply eschewed sound policies that help people get back to work and instead have focused on liberal pet projects.
The Left’s ideas have failed the American people, and as Yuval Levin recently pointed out on National Review Online, “The remedy [to the middle class’ woes] is to offer Americans a vision of conservative governance and its approach to solving problems and a clear sense, issue by issue, of how that approach would help the country and improve people’s lives.”
A great starting point for that vision of conservative governance can be found in YG Network’s awesomely awesome new book, Room To Grow.
Seize the day.
