Conservative Policy Needed: 54 Percent Say Economy Getting Worse

Happy Tuesday folks,

Across America, people recognize that we are on the wrong track and current economic policies are not working. According to Gallup’s Economic Confidence Index, more than half of the country (54 percent) say that the economy is getting worse, while a mere 41 percent believe it is getting better.

Because President Obama, Senate Majority Leader Reid, and House Minority Leader Pelosi have chosen to ignore policies that will grow the economy and people get back to work, middle-class Americans are struggling to keep their heads above turbulent economic waters.

That’s why YG Network’s new book, Room To Grow, is more important now than ever. In fact, The New York Times’ David Brooks recently called Room To Grow “the most coherent and compelling policy agenda the American right has produced this century.”

Conservatives have an opportunity to meet people where they’re at. Discussing macro-economics is important, but discussing economics as it affects middle-class families’ pocket-books is the best way to discuss the issues with hardworking Americans. It’s unfair to millions of people that liberal policies have led to a part-time recovery, so conservatives must show them that there is a better way.

Seize the day.
